Mr. Hamad Villa

Type: Residential
Location: Dubai, UAE
Built-up area: 750 sqm

Project description

This two-story residential villa of 750 sq. m, located in Wadi Al Shabak, follows a minimal design approach. Keeping everything simple, uncluttered, and accentuating the attractive architectural features of a space.
Regarding the exterior design, used reductive design elements, without ornamentation or decoration. A concrete white paint façade was chosen, with wood louvers for the main entrance walls, creating a timeless and beautiful building design. However, the ground floor and landscape are separated only by transparent walls. Also, the first floor contains clear glass windows to have a shiny and breezy interior villa and ensure beautiful relaxing views.
However, moving to the remarkable minimal interior design, it is characterized by its clean lines, reductive, uncluttered, simplicity, open ground floor plan, lots of light, and simple furnishings that are well-built and comfortable.

The dining area consists of a black wall, ceiling, chandelier, dining table, and curtains, representing simplicity and functionality and giving a dramatic and unique look, freshening the space with a large green cactus in addition to a blue carpet, resulting in a timeless contrast. The large glass window allows sitting on the dining table with natural light and beautiful green views.

Furthermore, the living room is of black and white colors. Various shades of white were chosen for the ceiling, floor, and walls as well. However, the couches and the bar are black. This contrast with the simplicity in design and uniqueness in resolution is the key to this soothing and inviting space that is aesthetic as well. Adding a yellow carpet to break the neutral colors. A modern TV screen was also added to create a soothing atmosphere. This living room layout is proof that a design can be simple and not boring at the same time.

Minimalistic and monochromatic go hand in hand. The point of minimalism is to create an aesthetically pleasing space that doesn’t need much. The master suite in this villa is proof that such a feat is possible. The room is striking and worldly, but still simple and minimal. White walls and floor in combination with black bed and bed carpet create a moody and timeless contrast. Adding a red chair to break the neutral look and have an eye-catching element.
